  • CARE INSTRUCTIONS
    1. Wash Before First Use: To ensure optimal performance, always wash new microfiber towels before using them. This removes any loose fibers from the manufacturing process.
    2. Wash Dark Colors Separately: To prevent color bleeding, always launder new black, orange, and red towels separately from lighter-colored ones.
Proper Care for Microfiber Towels from The Rag Company

Keep your microfiber towels in top condition by following these care instructions:

    • Machine Wash Guidelines: Wash in warm water (up to 104⁰F/40⁰C) using a mild, clean-rinsing liquid detergent free of dyes and perfumes. Avoid exceeding this temperature to prevent damage to the fibers, which can reduce their performance.
    • Drying Instructions: Dry on low or no heat in a tumble dryer, or simply hang to air dry.
    • Separate Washing: Wash microfiber towels only with other non-linting materials—avoid cotton—to maintain their lint-free and dirt-gripping characteristics.
    • Color Sorting: Sort towels by color before washing. Avoid mixing dark or brightly colored towels (e.g., red, orange, black) with lighter-colored towels (e.g., white, light blue, yellow), as bleeding may occur, especially with newer towels.
    • Do NOT iron.
    • Do NOT use fabric softeners, as they can clog the microfibers and reduce their effectiveness.
    • Do NOT use chlorine bleach, as it weakens the fibers and eliminates the microfiber's ability to attract and trap dust and dirt through its electrical charge.
    • Tip: Keep used and dirty microfiber towels in a separate bin away from regular laundry to prevent accidental damage during washing.
By following these steps, you’ll ensure your microfiber towels remain highly effective and long-lasting.
